Directions to the Good Hope Observatory

From Clarksburg US 19:

Take US-19 South for about 10 miles.

You will pass a gas station called Frankie G's on your left.

Go about 1/2 mile more and you'll see Midway Auto Repair (bright red building) on the right and just opposite it is the Midway Road, make a left onto Midway Road. This is in the middle of a turn so go slow.
Continue on Midway Road to Shay Drive and turn left onto Shay Drive. Proceed to the top of the hill to 271 Shay Drive and you are there.

Clarksburg to Good Hope Map

From Clarksburg US 50 & I 79 interchange:

Get on I-79 south towards Charleston.
Take the Jane Lew exit and go right onto Berlin road.
Go about a mile, and turn right onto US-19.
Continue on US-19 for about 6 miles.
When you pass two bridges on the left, you will be coming into Good Hope.
Go about 1/2 mile more and you'll see Midway Auto Repair (bright red building) on the left and just opposite it, make a right onto Midway Road. This is in the middle of a turn so go slow.
Continue on Midway Road to Shay Drive, turn left onto Shay Drive. Proceed to the top of the hill and you are there.

at Fairmont State University's Gaston Caperton Center

The Fairmont State College Gaston Caperton Center is located at the intersection of 6th and Main Street in Downtown Clarksburg. The parking lot and main entrance are behind the building. Look for Astronomy Day signs.
